  • 5-10 years relevant experience required.  

  • Hand-drawn artist, illustrator and expert at Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Lifestyle and themed environment expertise a big plus.

  • Provide a link to samples of your amazing work to excite us.

  • Must be fun to work with.  We don’t do egos or boring.

 

THE GIG . . .

 

Larimer & Co. Branding Studios is seeking a project-based architectural concept artist to join our creative team as we create unique experiences for some of the world’s most irresistible lifestyle and entertainment brands.

 

You live in a dimension of colors and shapes, both online and in the physical world, and you will be passionate about helping us create themed concepts for our clients. Your forward-thinking perspective on aesthetics will integrate with strategic objectives to elevate the ordinary to make it extraordinary for both our Company and the clients we represent. 

  

To be successful you will need to be a savvy modern concept artist who is comfortable working independently under the direction of our creative director. You will ooze passion and be driven to create concepts that tell a story that our clients fall in love with and want to bring to life. You’re also a skilled hand-drawn artist that enjoys old-school pen and ink or a splash of watercolor and you’re an expert at Adobe Creative Suite.

  

You’re also someone who understands the importance of getting feedback and other people’s input on your work. You’re not pretentious, and in the end, we won’t know how we got by without you.

  

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Design and Illustrate Concept Development for large-scale master-planned communities, mixed-use developments, multi-family residential properties and boutique hotels and resorts.

  • Contribute creatively through ideation, brainstorming, visual development, and research as required.

  • Work collaboratively with project leads and end-clients to take their projects to the next level and offer creative solutions that drive interest and capital funding.

  • Develop storyboards that clearly illustrate the intent of all creative elements within an experience so that the in-house team, client, and production artists are all on the same page.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Proven background & portfolio of visual concept development and dimensional design for location-based attractions and themed, master-planned communities.

  • Skilled eye for beautiful and powerful design aesthetic, with a versatile style and examples of "out of the box" thinking.

  • Technical and creative proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

  • Ability to contribute high-quality, creative concepts for medium and large-scale projects, demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches (i.e.: Concept Designs, Storyboards, Beat Boards, Water-Color and Matte Paintings.)

  • A self-starter who works independently, quickly, and meets expectations/deadlines.

  • Must be fast and efficient with great verbal communication skills.
