Apollo Gala Opens Countdown to 50th Anniversary of 1st Moon Landing

Our country’s space pioneers were recognized at the 49th Apollo Celebration including British physicist Brian Cox, who presented Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson with the ShareSpace Foundation's Innovation award. The official countdown begins for the 50th Anniversary of the first moon landing next year where The Space Coast will once again capture the world's attention of the country's historic space exploration.
