Social Media Interaction Leads to a Healthy Bottom-Line
Check out what our founder, Shanon Larimer, had to say on the topic of current social media trends in the July 5th edition of the Orlando Business Journal.
There are an estimated 3.48 billion social media users as of January 2019, with the worldwide total growing by 288 million — or 9% — from the year prior. That's according to the Digital 2019: Global Digital Overview report by Hootsuite and We Are Social, which looked at worldwide digital usage on the internet, mobile devices, social media and e-commerce. Additionally, active social media users made up 45% of the total population.
"Customer Experience is Everything," says Shanon Larimer, CEO of Larimer & Co. Branding Studios. "Social Media is shaping the way people consume media, connect with others, seek recommendations, make buying decisions, and "love" brands." Larimer & Co. works with clients to develop experience-driven, content-rich campaigns that drive engagement and margins for corporations.
"Due to the over-saturation in the social space, it's not the number of followers that matter as much these days; it's how those followers engage with the brand to stimulate growth," said Larimer. "Ultimately, social media interaction leads to action, resulting in loyalty, sales and a healthy bottom-line."
